§ The origin

It started with one person, one laptop, and a lot of late nights.

In 2014, Craig Flickinger was running IT for a local company by day and building websites for friends by night. The requests kept coming — a bakery in Sandy, a law firm in Salt Lake, a ski shop in Park City — and Burnt Bacon was born out of sheer demand for honest, human web work.

We're a tight-knit team based in South Jordan, Utah. When you call, we pick up. When something breaks, we fix it. We write every line of code ourselves because we believe great websites come from people who actually give a damn about your business — not templates, not AI slop, and not agencies that ghost you after launch.

We specialize in WordPress and Shopify because they're the two platforms that give our clients the most flexibility without locking them into proprietary systems. And we stick around — most of our clients have been with us for years because we treat maintenance and growth as seriously as the build itself.
