Jonathon GiebelerGiebeler is a commercial real estate and business lawyer who represents clients in all aspects of commercial real estate and related business transactions, with particular emphasis on commercial leasing, finance, and purchase and sale transactions. Some of Giebeler’s recent accomplishments include representing:

  • Aztec Shops, an auxiliary organization of San Diego State University, in retail leasing for the new mixed-use South Campus Plaza project;
  • Great Maple restaurants in new restaurant leases as it expands to new locations throughout southern California; and
  • The Center for Creative Leadership, ranked in the top five of worldwide executive training centers, in a new lease of approximately 31,000 square feet.

Neil HyytinenHyytinen practices in the areas of land use, planning and entitlements. His recent accomplishments include representing:

  • Alexandria Real Estate Equities on multiple entitlement efforts, including obtaining master development permits for the expansion of major life science and biotech tenants and acquisition due diligence;
  • A renowned medical discovery institute, which conducts world-class collaborative research dedicated to finding cures for human disease, on various expansion and redevelopment efforts; and
  • Cameron Brothers Construction in negotiating a favorable resolution of code and permitting issues for a large resort community in the County of San Diego, while preserving and maximizing future development rights.

David VogelVogel heads the day-to-day operations of HechtSolberg’s Common Interest Developments practice. A few of his recent accomplishments include his representing:

  • Presidio Residential Capital and other land developers and home builders in property acquisitions and development matters;
  • Home builders, such as Baldwin & Sons, in structuring and implementing common interest developments and guiding projects through the California Bureau of Real Estate; and
  • California Bank & Trust, California Coast Credit Union and several other institutional and private lenders in a wide variety of lending matters, including real estate construction and permanent loans, business loans and asset-based credit facilities.

Vogel was also honored in the San Diego Business Journal’s Best of the Bar 2016, which showcases San Diego lawyers who have made a significant impact on their profession and community. The San Diego Business Journal selected local attorneys who were chosen by their peers as the most outstanding in their field. The publication reported that 2,023 votes were cast in a field of 813 attorneys affiliated with 578 firms and solo practices throughout the area.
